Our commitment
Acute ADA Compliance is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to this site.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This site aims to be conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
"Conformant" means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions. We use the language "aims to conform" because, in the spirit of the transparency we ask our clients to share, no automated tool achieves 100% conformance, and we periodically discover and remediate edge cases as they are reported.
Measures we take
Acute ADA Compliance takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of this site:
- Server-side remediation. Every page on this site is processed through our remediation engine before being served. ARIA landmarks, skip-navigation links, form labels, alt attributes, heading structure, and focus indicators are applied at the HTML level — not via overlay.
- Continuous scanning. Our scanner runs against this site on a recurring schedule. Failures are logged and prioritized for remediation.
- Manual review. Our team manually tests with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation on a quarterly basis, plus before every major design change.
- Accessibility built into our build process. New components and pages must pass automated and manual checks before publication.

Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. We disclose them rather than hide them:
- Embedded third-party content. Some third-party widgets, embeds, and analytics scripts may not fully conform. We work to replace or wrap non-conformant third-party code.
- User-submitted content. Reviews, testimonials, or other user-contributed content may not always meet accessibility standards. We review and remediate where possible.
- Decorative imagery edge cases. Where automation cannot determine whether an image is decorative or meaningful, our reports flag the case for manual review. We address these on a continuous basis.

This site is designed to be compatible with:

- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android), and JAWS.
